i am in the same predicument as you mate. i live in frome so not far from you. have you tried driver hire? i spoke to them today and they seemed quite positive towards new drivers. they said they understand the difficulty new drivers face as they have their own training school.
passed my cat c on the 13th of jan. first time with 4 minors. 
. just waiting to do my cpc module 4 next week and also for my smart card to come back.
