It’s horrible dave75,take it from me,your sitting in the cab after the impact thinking,■■■■ I hope the other blokes alive!
Lucky for me he was.
Rob K:
No surprise really. They can’t drive for toffee. They only work there because they can’t get a job anywhere else and the standard of driving - along with this clip - shows why.
i hate having to agree with some of what you say but if you look at the state of our trucks and trailers youd have to agree every corner of every unit has damage, every trailer has damage, the back of nearly every cab has been hit by some idiot running over the pin, theres now gaffer tape holding bumpers together, gaffer tape over holes in trailers,10 reg trucks damaged,a brand new trailer that arrived a week or two ago is standing in corner with damage] ,the idiot whos done it has chucked MUD at side to try and hide the damage
.
i can honestly say ive never seen as much damage at any of the firms ive worked for, they cant drive off the diesel pumps without hitting the protection bollards, hitting the truck wash comming out.hitting the fence reversing on to bay
ive no idea if they dont give a ■■■■,cant drive, or need glasses, but it is ■■■■ poor, these days i feel embarresed to take a truck out the yard, drivers look at the truck and think youve done it all,its your own truck
half of them take the damage sheet with them and feel it out through the day so it looks like previous drivers done the damage, and they freeley admit it
if the new policy is BUMS ON SEATS i guess thats what you get.
@ dessy ^
ive just started at stobbies and i must admit alot of the trucks are damaged.this will allways happen when drivers have different trucks every day.trampers trucks are allways the best ones in the yard.iv`e had mine 3 weeks,i took 2 days off last week and whoever had it [zb] one of the wheels up,got axle grease inside and tipped a load over by the looks of it(coke cola all down the side of it).some drivers are [zb] some drivers are [zb],just look at the way some of them look, black fingernails rotten teeth etc ffs get a grip

That’s Crick Depot for you!! Must be all them agency lads they use!!
Or haterz damaging Stobbies kit deliberately!!
When I first came here to work Stobarts standards were higher than what they are now. In the days of the shirt and tie you had to keep your hair cut, tattoos could not be prominent, covered up if possible and yes people had to shower too!!!,unlike some of the drivers who work here now.
Standards have dropped terribly now, just take the showers at crick, vandalised again by mindless pricks who just don’t care about the majority of drivers who try and respect company property.
But there again if middle management hadnt got the antagonistic and high handed attitude they have at the moment maybe drivers would take more care.
Let’s hope William coming back into the eddie Stobart side of the group is a good thing and he sorts the company out.
Screwdrivers the lot of them.

Lets hope you don’t drop a bollock one day and someone puts the footage on the internet to take the ■■■■ out of you! ‘Let him without sin cast the first stone’ and all that!
Well said anyone else think its about time we grew up where stobarts are concerned

no it shouldnt happen if they have there own truck or a different truck every day, just because joe bloggs has a different truck that day doesnt mean he needs or should run under the pin and hit the back of the cab, its poor whatever truck your in.
they should take a pride in what they do.
i had a young lad with me who always wanted to drive trucks, the kid goes out of his way to do it right,he listens, takes on board what your telling him, and tries zb hard todo a good job,hes gutted if he makes a mistake, but he learns from those mistakes, donesnt happen again, alot of the rest, dont care, not intrested, couldnt give a zb.

the sentiments are very nice, but not really needed, lots have plenty to say on here, but in the real world ive not had a word said to me in malice, plenty in jest but im a big boy and can give it out and take it,i l like a bit of banter, nothing wrong with a wind up now and again
I can hazard a guess he has let it run down the hill, can easy get 60+mph even empty on that hill. You come round the bend and the junction from Dunfermline is right on top of you multiple cars coming on, your offside is blocked by a overtaking car. Slams on the anchors notice the wet road - hard brakes - downhill disnae take a genius
I got a blowout in that exact place only the opposite carriageway about a year ago, i ■■■■ a brick as i was overtaking another truck at the time

i wish someone would post that footage of billy k demolishing that bus stop
whilst running from one side of the cab to the other as he wasnt sure if he was driving a right ■■■■■■ or left ■■■■■■,id pay good money to see that
I was just about to post when I rememberd my new years resolution
Imagine how it must feel to be driving a Stobarts truck and being an agency driver?
Hated by both other drivers and Stobarts own.

You wouldn’t be saying that if you were working at Fenny Lock! Other ■■■■ upon Tossco depots are available!
@ ady1
“must try harder”.
I see you are determined to get a rise out of me but I have some news for you kid - give it up 'cause it ain’t gonna happen. I don’t give a flying ■■■■. I make ■■■■ ups just like everyone else - the difference is that I have no problem admitting them, unlike you that keeps schtum about your mishaps because you can’t take people having a good laugh at your expense (reference: no input from ady1 on “what things have you hit?” thread). So please feel free to continue mocking me from your high tree branch of superiority - I am glad that my misfortunes are proving to be such a great source of entertainment for you. I’m sure I could recall a few other ‘incidents’ too, if you like?

It is a useful tool is the search facility especially for someone with as much time on our hands as you and I
