Don’t know who took the pic, but if I’d been there I’d be trying to help the lad back out, rather than taking the pic in the first place, and then be putting the pic of his epic balls up on whatever site.As said,.we’ve all done stupid bloody things in our time, me included, and some more stupid than others.
Hitting a bridge (as pointed out by our resident driving hero and road safety correspondent
) is just downright carelessness, and a bit different to a bit of a balls up taking a wrong turn to somewhere you shouldn’t be.
Come on rob. I know you like to argue for the sake of arguing but This isn’t just a normal balls up. From the height of an artic cab you can clearly see that road isn’t going anywhere other than a drive thru from long before you start turning leaving you in a position where it would be a straight back out.
I believe the photos were taken and shared later by the local recovery company that went to get him out. So actually the guy who took the photos was also the guy getting him out of ■■■■. Get your facts right before saying they should have done this or that.

Some of the delivers are near enough like that in McDonald’s
It don’t look to bad that it needs a recovery truck to rescue it
It’s just something hes taken off the internet after waking up dreaming about trucks
Hes in the zone of fairyland always wanting to be someone he will never be
I’d be running away,in case he got out.
Stop arguing the toss one way or the other. Look at the lane( it’s a McDonalds drive true lane…), and look at the tyre tracks on the grass… he took it wide, because he knew it was tight…
Breath deep…
It will last a other 15 years until I retire…
If not I’ll enjoy the reckoning
I’ve taken one of those 5t horseboxes through a drive thru. I can’t say the guys were particularly pleased to see me though…
The racehorse wasn’t too chuffed either TBH
We all have taken a wrong turn at some stage in life
Some of them the entrance is starting at the drive through and then it widens at the back
Nothing to see here
So you think he was doing a delivery to the McDonald’s do you and he was looking for the goods in area? I’ve never seen a left hand drive polish tautliner do McDonald’s store deliveries. Once again people on here trying to make excuses for him. We all make mistakes but he’s in a driver thru in an artic for crying out loud. Come on give me strength

Of course he was, he was doing a bit of cabbage while he was waiting for his back load, happens all the time

Nah not really Rowley (Really Rowley ) it’s just you I like arguing with…but is that not the point of all your posts on here?
Ok fair enough, I’ve now heard the facts, he made an epic balls up, as we all have from one time or another, with maybe the exception of you of course, maybe he was a Sat nav slave (presumably like you) or maybe he was just lost in a foreign country, panicked and made a bad call, bad day…but I still would have helped him, I still would not have stood there taking pics.
You will maybe find out these things if you ever do anything more adventurous and demanding in your career, than a nine hour M6 night trunk in… ‘‘All the years’’ you have done the job you once told me about.
Just think of all the posts you could make on those ‘nasty foreigners’ and their bad driving, if you ever drive abroad!!
It’s a thought…The worlds yer lobster Terry.

Oh I’ve done my fair share of London, rural Scotland, and everywhere in between. I’ve forgotten more than you know. And I don’t actually use a sat nav these days
I bow to your ‘Vast trucking experience’ Rowls…what the hell was I thinking.
Btw not hard to not use a sat nav when you do the same ■■■■ easy limited radius run every night.

Might of been the best option TBH as he was completely crap as a racehorse

ive a mental image of some fanny on a night trunk with the satnav stuck in front of his face on day illumination.
they do exist which is somewhat debatable in here.

My mental image of you is some bell end who goes speeding down a motorway slip road expecting everyone to move over and give way to you rather than you give way to them, then go on to drive 2 inches away from the back of everyone all day.
