Anyone else think this is a pee take?

Just seen this - advertised by an agency…

You should be an experienced HGV Driver and it is essential you have the following:
• HGV License Class 1 & 2 with no more than 6 points on
• HIAB
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Current lorry loader crane operators licence
• Current counter balance fork lift truck licence
• Plant loader / securer
• CPCS lorry loader or CPCS loading and securing
• Driver qualifications card and/or periodic CPC certification
• First aid certificate
• ADR

  • All for £10.36 an hour. Makes the options and expense of getting those extra cards not worthwhile imo.

Do they want you to sweep up as well ?

I’m sure they’ll get a nice friendly Pole/Romanian/Bulgarian (other European 'Fugee’s are available) to do it, for £7.50 an hour. [emoji57]

Can I suggest it’s a £7.50 an hour pleb that wrote the advert! :open_mouth:

I suspect the boss wanted an advert saying they want drivers with these skills, not one driver with all of them…

No mate, just the one driver

I might apply, and say I’ve got all of them, except the first aid certificate, and see what they say.

Let’s all apply and troll them.

Very definately taking the ■■■■.
