hi lads was anyone else caught on the a1 between hamburg and bremen this thursday ,it was 5 kms before the autohof at sittensen j47 i was sat in the queue for 9 hrs ! the german polizei told me the german truck driver died at the scene and when i eventually got past u could see why the cab was flatpacked the poor sod,sorry u wil have 2 bear with me im a new member !

they posted that the driver did not notice that traffic was
stopped or slowing down and he ran into the back, due to
the load which was spilt on the motorway because of the crash
it was a difficult job to clean the roads surface and remove
the scattered load from the motorway,The road was not
going to be free until 0830hrs, IS WHAT THEY SAID IN THE POST;

cheers mate for the tips i spoke to one of the polizei and he told me it would b a while so it was a case of get the kettle on and the telly and grin and bear it! i usually have bfbs radio on when in that area and they never mentioned it but the german channel ffn did i knew my day was going too well!
