Got a collection of newspapers from them tomorrow and been given a number to speak to someone about where exactly the newspaper collection place is but it goes straight to voice mail all the time, they seem to have various locations and have phoned another office who have given me the wrong postcode (I google mapped it and just a small backlane where the main royal mail offices are).
I think I might have found it, top of London road near last m27 turnoff. Just thought I’d check here whilst I try and find out more… the concern I got is a lot that area is 7.5 limit except for access and don’t need a big fine if I go down a wrong road.

It says that they are on the London Road, which if my memory serves me right is the A3 to the south of the A27/M27
Yes thats correct just head for hilsea jct 12 m27 and opposite hilsea lido is the news centre. No 7.5 tonne limits.
News centre is on the left just drive upto barrier should lift auto.

Just go in follow lane to where you will see some buses parked think you will be collecting under the canopy on ur left.

Don’t waste your 45 there , stop at matey on the first roundabout space there to park a truck or come off jct 11 and there’s 2 laybys either side and a sansbug or toscos near by
Naah, nothing wrong with the Pompey truck stop at that time of day, if it’s just for a 45 especially at that time. Quick bacon butty, while you refuel on the AS24 pump, admittedly a complete nightmare anything after 5/6 pm
Managed to get to the place, easy place to collect from I thought… got messed about start of the day though, agency told me to get to the yard for 7… I tend to turn up early for new tips in case I need a bit of leeway on finding it… so I got there 6.20, only to be told start time was supposed to be 6 and it’s a timed collection for 11 in Portsmouth… I got there with 10 minutes to spare, I was relieved until the warehouse guy told me ‘it’ll be out for about 12 mate’'. That’s annoying as the haulage company can get big money fines if they turn up late yet the company you’re collecting from can do as they please lol.

Would be nice if the poor old driver was to be well informed at the beginning of the day, or the day before for agency start times.
By the way Andy , thank you for posting back to let us know how you got on finding the place, nice to see that some people appreciate it when they ask for info, be it directions or best routes and they get help.

I really appreciate any help I can get in life mate, and likewise happy to help someone myself when I can.
You’re right about the driver should be informed with more info. I don’t like going to work with only a vague idea of what’s involved with the days work… give me as much info as possible the day before and I’m more than happy to google map the hell out of routes etc. the day or night before in my own time: To me, it makes it less stressful on a personal level and more productive for the company.
