Being serious briefly Mr Angry brought offering a bed into conversation and it made me think about how when I’m tramping and in my lorry the last thing I’d want to do is give up my own bed, in the lorry, for one in a strangers house.
.
Got to agree.
I’ve never seen anything wrong with kipping in a well facilitated truck cab, in your own space, with all home comforts…what’s not to like?
I have never preferred digs, never would consider sleeping in a stranger’s house…well a Male stranger anyway.
The ones who look upon ‘sleeping in a tin box’ as they invariably put it , as a disadvantage, are the types who have had one or two nights out in the past,. parked in a lay by, for 9.000 hours, in a cheap sleeping bag, eating a pot noodle for their tea, like an endurance excercise.
People buy campers and caravans and call their time doing the same thing…holidays ffs .

Yup, to me a bed is a bed wherever it is. So many of my friends think me sleeping in lorry is some sort of awful! Like you say re endurance test- I’ve never ever slept in a sleeping bag, always my duvet. I’ve always tried via my videos to show how enjoyable this job is approached with right attitude and equipment
