What parts of the country is there a driver shortage in then?
Not in Wiltshire by the looks of things.
Phone calls, emails and cold calling have all come to nowt.
Agencies promise the world and then insist you go self employed or on that stupid umbrella thing.
Cobblers to that.
And when you do find a job and say you’re prepared to night out a couple of times a week, that translates to 4 or 5 to the average bod behind the desk.

ISIS recruit through C&D recruitment, it’s temp to perm after 3 months. 2 years artic experience is needed. ISIS head office is based in Gloucester and the office number for the manager running the Aldi contract, Jason Ellen, is 01452 881622. Jason is on leave until a week Monday so you would speak to another member of the team.
TNT are building a new hub next to B&Q so will probably be looking in the coming months - no knowledge of their recruitment process.

On Point West this week it was saying that Agencies in Swindon were paying East European drivers to get their friends in Bulgaria to come as there is a shortage of Truck Drivers in the area,one of the trucks shown was a company called bains i cant remember the others ,Best of luck , Glad i am out of it ,Take Care .

Knew then it would end in tears.

They have won the contract B&Q Nationally for Transport
Wincanton won contract for warehouse nationally
DHL got nothing and we are all getting TUPE to Norbert’s
Steve66,B@Q at Sth marston need drivers ongoing through driver plus, no hard work, all you do is open the curtains and sit in the cab, nice kit to drive and it’s £10 an hour which ain’t. Too bad you easily get 5 days a week, phone Ryan at driver plus recruitment,also nobby dentrangle have the new contract and rumour is they are looking to recruit another 40 drivers, the core drivers are on the £30,000+ wage( so I’ve been told) hope this helps you
