Any tips please!

Hi guys, got dates confirmed to start my LGV 1 + ADR

I have chosen to do my courses with 2 start ltd, not local to me at all but one of the only training schools that new what they where talking about with regards to ELC ( Enhanced learning credits ). Thanks to Paul Moon who was a big help.

Anyway any tips on either of the courses would be a big help, ADR looks like it’s going to take a bit of time to take in.

Make sure you have both parts of your driving licence with you, especially on day 1 and test day.

Day 1 for me started with licence check , a look around the unit and semi, a run out on the road then lunch followed by the reversing exercise (lots of goes at that) and another run out on the road.

Day 2 as above but without the licence check. Also had the couple and uncouple demonstrated (more reversing practice)

Day 3 as day 2 with show me tell me questions thrown in and discussed.

Day 4 reverse practice, road run and test

Tips wise…give yourself plenty of time and space where you can. Plan and observe well ahead and listen to what your instructor tells you, he/she does know what they are talking about

Good luck and and enjoy

ADR not that hard to be honest listen to your instructor as they should explain everything to you
Exams are all multi choice
