Any tips on somewhere near Tingley W.yorks please

Collecting from carlsberg then I’ll have about an hour to find somewhere heading back towards m6 south thanks

hartsheadmoor or birch services on the m62, or heywood ( come off at jct 18 m62 take 3rd exit, take jct 3 and turn right at the lights, go to top and turn right at the lights, about 2 miles on left is the entrance too the ind park, go in there stop at barrier and security will direct you) would be the 3 main culprits on the radar matey

Thanks appreciate it. Ended up in an ind est new boss too tight to pay parking guess he’s not going to be my boss too long lol

Pheasant Drive at Batley, where Bedfords are based, would have been the place to go.

1 junction along (J27) from the op’s start point. Late cafe at the side of Bedfords, (Nab Lane on the Gelderd Road side.) behind what used to be TDG tanks. Looks like a bungalow. Park on the estate perimeter road, and walk to the cafe. Don’t try and park outside, as there is nowhere to turn around, and road is only about 75 yards long anyhow, and narrows.

Try and avoid parking on the road that leads into the estate, as it leads to Bedfords and Volvo, and you won’t get much sleep, as trucks are in and out all night. Tuffnells have not been long moved into the estate as well, which is the first road on the right as you go in. Instead, drive past Volvo, follow the road round past Bedfords, and TDG(?) tanks is straight in front of you on the T junction

Turn right, and either move up that road a bit, or reverse back with the tank place on your left.

The whole estate is a loop, (Pheasant Drive/Pennine View.) and you need to observe who is on the estate in order for you to know you ain’t going to be disturbed.

Ken.

If you do this trip again Howley Park industrial est is a popular spot about a mile up the road on a650 towards Bradford. Its within five minutes walk to asda and a really good chippy.

if you come off at jct 27 follow the a650 toward bradford theres a nice wide layby to park in or you could down toward the ikea and park on that estate there somewhere just be prepared to be up early as they sometimes get early deliveries some of the other companies on that site

If you come off the M62, and go towards Batley on the A62 pass Mconalds over the roundabout, there is cafe on the left with some parking the cafe wont be open after 2pm, you have KFC, McDonalds, Pheasant pub that severs decent food till 10pm the parking cost nothing.
