Any one know where the Coca cola factory in wakefield is?

Looking for direction from m1 comming from the north!
Thanks

If I remember rightly, it’s off junction 41 and you follow the signs for 41 industrial park.

As I live not far from there,I think I may be able to help you.

J41 M1 South. At the top of the sliproad, turn left for Wakefield.(A650) Next roundabout, turn left into 41 industrial estate.Up the short hill and over the next roundabout.Coca Cola is about 600 yards on the left, along the very long right hand bend

Easy Peasy.

Cheers for that quinny thats a great help
also thanks to Pecall

Are you wanting to know where it is norfolknewb? It’s here : pininthemap.com/pp49fb0cbcd38e7d4cb

dont forget to tie your curtains back before you go in they usually wont let you in unless you have there is a small layby just before gate house to do it if its empty easy to find aswell

Why’s that then?

is it me… or are there several threads being resurected from years ago?

I went in for a load then took a 45 break on site came out the gate bloke said where you been. I said had to take a 45 break he went daft say its not allowed on site because it looked as if they took a long time to load you and will get charged its probably only stobbarts that do

That just seems like a totally brainless thing to do, is it a simply a silly H&S requirement as my recollections of that area were wall to wall lorries and a lack of parking. I used to deliver tyres into Stapletons at ridiculous booking times like 4.45am or 5.07

dunno why its probably to save them time on there part, all coca cola depots have this requirement. as wheelnut stated probably h+s cos they ask you to stay in your cab till the flt gives you a shout to pull the curtains away from the rear of the trailer to load last pallets, if its a live load or drop and swap its all the same, pull curtains back and bars if you have them, down london they have there are parking to do this in, about 8 bays means that when your trailer is ready they put you straight onto a loading bay and you get loaded very quickly so for the lazy drivers out there hoping to catch a few hours on a bay forget it  around the wakefield depot you will see alot of trucks parked up with there trailers mapped out in this way waiting for there booking time some from the night b4,

if your there a while there is also a few butty vans one is near the morrisons on the left as you drive towards coke, the other is left off the first round about as you climb the hill id prefer this one but parking is difficult all around this area gotta get in there sharpish. also if you need fuel the morrisons pumps are keyfuels/ uk fuel me thinks which is located on the left as you drive towards cola which is also on the left

Sorry but I just had to post this :grimacing:

When you pull in to gatehouse after opening curtains they may also pass you a brush and shovel to sweep floor if it’s dirty. Theres a bin at the side for you to tip rubbish in after cleaning.
I believe the idea of having you draw curtains is as has been mentioned to cut down on the time your on the premises.
