I thought that heading might get your attention! I have been told by my boss that I can make this offer to any and all class 2 drivers, newbies included. It’s not a job that will appeal to all but it’s a way for newbies to get that all important first full time job. It’s in the midlands area but there may be work available even further south. My boss has asked me not to name the company but if anyboby is interested PM me and I will put you in touch with the boss, he’s one of the good guys. Make no mistake, this is not a scam nor am I working undercover for an agency. I’ve been on this site for nearly two years and had a lot of help from you all in that time, so when my boss told me today he was hoping to recruit some new drivers (yes drivers, plural), I asked him if I could mention it on here before he starts to advertise and I explained that it could be done using PM’s so that he can do any pruning of applicants and he told me to go ahead.
waiting to hear from you; first come first served and good luck to you all.
Can second what rich says, worked with him for a year and a half decent company with good guys in the office and some good money to be had if your keen. Great way to get your foot on the ladder and get the experience.
Thanks Neil, now they know it’s a genuine offer. as I said, I’ve had a lot of help on here and some of it was from sketchybob who advised me to go for this job a year ago.

To all who have PM’d me, I have replied to all of you (I think) so far, some of you may have had more than one reply repeating itself as I was not sure if it had been sent and might have resent it several times, sorry 'bout that.To Mikey D, I have sent you a PM telling you what the job is, let me know if you want more info. Sorry to disappoint all the sceptics but I can’t help with the space shuttle washing, just real work.
All the best
Rich

Thanks for the info ,alas i have a job ,just started on artic after 2 years on class 2 .
The job would of suited me when i was looking for my first break ,and some good money to be made .
i was working as a subbie driving a tipper, to a surface dressing crew (tar and chipping road surfacing ),and burntwood s#####r hire lads were doing some serious hours and good money .
cheers Mike
Hey Mike, congrats on the artic job, how long have you been doing it and is it all you hoped?
yea Rich im loving the artic work , i still work for the same employer as when i started on cat c work …When i passed c+e i went out for a couple of hours to get used to the artic (as i trained with w +d) with one of our drivers . Havent looked back since ,we do general haulage everything from skips /tippers to low loaders .
i have done curtainsiders to rdc’s as well as wide loads into London and up to heysham port .
ok so the money isnt great but the experience is invaluable
cheers Mike
Still not too late for this opportunity so I’m posting this to get it back at the top of the listings, if it fades to the bottom again I’ll let it slide next time.
All the best
