Any Merc experts on here?

I have a 62 plate MP3 Actros. I was looking to fit some air horns that I was given, so aimed for the supply to the seat, only to find that there are 5 pipes which aim into the underside of the seat, when looking on the underside of the cab - they go in a multi-way plug/manifold sort of thing. The ones in use are numbered 1,2,3 6, 10 - does anybody have any idea which one would be the one to use - and what they are all doing? Seems a hell of a lot of air pipes for one seat…

Or alternatively, do you know of any other suitable air supply under the cab somewhere?

Thanks

Gary

Can you not use a fitting straight into one of the unused ports on the manifold?

Speak to Trubster, he is your man for this type of problem.

All mercedes have a circuit protected manifold block fitted. On the atego and axor rigid its near to the air drier under the chassis rail,on the axor tractor its next to the suspension control valve, would imagine the actros is in the same location.

Its a small block with either 3 or 5 six mm plug bolts screwed into it.
All the circuits from the manifold are isolated via a pressure isolating valve.
