Any guesses as to the problem?

I am currently sat waiting for a fitter so I thought we could have a sort of Friday quiz.

The issue is the tractor unit builds up air to the usual pressure then vents it virtually all, then builds up again, then vents and so on so forth.

This happens with airlines attached and unattached.

Cycled the tanks by emptying fully a few times - same result.

No visual issues - split pipes/connections etc.

So pop pickers - what is the fitter gonna diagnose?

(Besides my increasing depression, I fly out on holiday in 24 hours)

I think it’s work of those malevolent trucking elves, Knowing it’s not only a Friday they’ve now know you’re due to go on holiday so they mess with your world to cause you extra stress and make you wonder why on earth you didn’t listen to you mother and get a nice normal job with proper hours and even an office and company car.

But I’m sure your fitter will tell you something else, like it was the fuggle valve or something. but they’re in league with the Elves.

Slow puncture in one of your tyres

Air dryer pack.

They always go on a Friday with a giggle.

faulty air release valve i imagine m8

That’s what I was thinking with it always going off at the exact same pressure and venting down to a certain level.

Must be the trucks Birthday …and it wants to blow up lots of balloons with its own air !

I am getting my coat …the one with the wrap around arms.

Ok fitter is here - the coupler to the near side front brake has split apart.

It’s tucked right into the wheel arch.

Fair play to RH commercials, its getting fixed straight away at the roadside within 2 hours of being called.
