Any good book recommendations?

Just finished FIASCO by Thomas E. Ricks. Subtitled “The American Military Adventure in Iraq”, its a jaw-dropping expose on the complete and utter lack of any semblance of a plan, objective or exit strategy regarding their Middle East involvement (interference).
It`s almost beyond belief how frighteningly little thought has been given to the consequences of their foreign policy ineptitude, and it subsequently becomes very apparent why the Muslim world (quite justifiably) despises them with such ferocity.

Only attempt if you`re up for some SERIOUS reading material, though.

That is a good point.Am i the only one that thinks chaos and lawlessness in that area occured after Saddam Hussein was done away with.
He ruled with an iron fist and fear.
Now criminals and gangs take false taxes off shop keepers.
