Hi gang.

Been off the forum for a while as I was made redundant and found work in a warehouse. After 2 years iv’e finally realised that I hate it and want out! Has the jobs market picked up at all? I loved trunking to RDCs but i’ll do anything!

they get rid of good, experienced and full timers then get casuals in to save money then take them on full time for about five years then get rid of them! It’s a vicious circle, abit like a cnunt with teeth! Ggggrrrrrrrrrrr! :smiley: :open_mouth: :sunglasses: :laughing: :stuck_out_tongue:

You could phone a few Agencies in your area.

You could try phoning Ocean City Recruitment in Nottingham. They had work for me at Toyota Derby which isn’t too far from you.

Best agency that I’ve dealt with and the wages were good, nice job too. Only left as I found a permanent position.

what about fed ex? wouldnt they be looking for drivers with the run up to xmas?

Right, Ive rang around the usual suspects regarding permament positions and drawn a blank so im going to try the usual emergency option- Driver Hire! Worked there alot in the past and found that ut all goes well for a few months before things go flat and I end up leaving.
