It’s been almost 5 years since I passed class one and was very fortunate to be handed keys to an artic the next morning so I don’t feel I can advise him very well.
He passed his class one yesterday and is awaiting his dcpc dates and thinks he’ll just go on agency but when I’ve done agency as an experienced driver there’s been hard times.
So is there anywhere in Nottingham that May give him a chance? Derby maybe? And if agency is his only option are there any known for giving new lads work?

Taylors at Huthwaite are excellent for giving new drivers a start. 3 minutes from M1 junc 28 so very easy to get to.

Theres boots in Nottingham and malcoms transport just off j25 back of giltbrook think they have got an ikea contract which could be ok.an agency could be worth a go but as you know permanent is better.
