I am ashamed to be a driver, i had the pleasure of a night out at Junction 29 truck stop at Chesterfield, i had a very nice meal, thick chunks of meat in a beef stew and a pint of milk.
A tractor unit was parked behind my trailer by the hedge, the driver had urinated by the wheel of his truck, it looked like a horse had done it , judging by the amount of urine on the tarmac, the bush or hedge was 2 feet away from his unit, why not use that, and the urine would have soaked away in the soil, he left a carrier bag of rubbish by the wheel too.
At another stop at a truck stop in Goole, behind the hedge in a farmers field, all types of rubbish had been thrown over a 12 foot high hedge,numerous bootles of urine, truck cab accesories, old razors, you could tell it was drivers doing this.
The farmer would have come along to clear the rubbish, as there were metal parts that would damage his machinery.
There were bins in both places and a toilet, so why do some not use them, this is why the public hate us, can you blame them, i can not.
