why did the uk delay implementation of this new law till 2017■■?
Maybe through knowledge of other countries ‘Police’ forces being, how do I say it politely… Dodgy?
If I get a speeding ticket in certain countries, I may or may not have been speeding, usually it’s just a fine, for which I don’t usually get a receipt, if you know what I mean…
Also, in some countries, some speed limits are madness, you could be driving down a 120kph motorway, and then the speed drops 90, 70, 50 then back up 70, 90, 120. And this is for a junction that you can clearly see and nobody is there, there’s a vehicle up your arse, vehicles next to you, so you just crack on with the flow, then 500yrds later you’re pulled over because you’re on UK plates.
Now, I think that all countries should have their laws respected, no matter how daft, but it needs to be equal.
Also, come out of Immingham on the A180 and see how many foreigners and brits alike pass you if you’re doing 50mph along the dual carriageway A road…
