Lucky no-one was injured.
The lorry crashed into the gable end and roof of the property and spilled about 4,000kg (8,818lb) of its fertiliser load into the garden.
Can’t wait to see pictures of their Daffodils this spring
Joking aside though, glad nobody seriously injured
it must have been a light truck as the payload is stated as 32t yet only 4t fell off!
Thats well funny!
There’ll be a right old stink over that.
These houses are becoming a menace.

If it’s a special new lightweight trailer that tares at just over 3t you’ll look silly.

yes they should but you will be having a busy day stopping every 10 miles too re tight the straps as they will slacken off as you travel + if you use ratchet straps it can cut the packaging open resulting in a enviromental disaster and a short delivery.

there are a couple of hauliers up here in scotland that are using diffrent methods of netting systems inside there curtainsiders but havent heard much about how they are getting on with them, i use old pallets tops with ratchet straps but my journeys are never more than 50 miles out from the fertilizer store.
