The gates are in front of the bay’s,you pull off the bay’s and the gates are directly in front of you,so he pulled off the bay up to the gates where normally you would stop to close your doors ,he didn’t bother with the stopping or closing doors bit.
Right in front of you, need I say more.
Look in the picture above, yes straight in front of me…
Thanks for just saying what I just stated
So how do you propose I stopped him from driving off, chase him on foot waving frantically■■?
You were looking, did he get out of his cab to close the doors, you looked at him making the mistake for about one or two minutes while he got his papers checked knowing he was going to drive off

So here goes, let’s see if this one sinks in,
At Fyffes they come out with your keys and paper work when your loaded, they pass you your keys and paper work, then you pull off the bay in a forward motion stopping just before the gates to close your doors.
The last bit is key here because this is what the Stobart driver forgot to do,stop and close his doors…instead he drive straight off the bay,up to the gates and straight out onto the public highway.
Please to god tell me you understand now as I’m losing the will to live!
there was no “one or two minutes” where he went to fetch his paperwork because they bring it out with your keys.

Id cut your losses if I were you mate. If he doesnt understand now then im afraid he’s never gonna get it. I myself have no idea what the ■■■■ nightline is struggling to understand. Said driver either left bay and went straight out without stopping or he pulled forward, stopped to do his paperwork and then moved out without doing doors. The rest of us down here in the real world know there was no way for you to warn him but id let nightline continue to live in his world where you can tell in advance someone is going to make a mistake and warn them.

Your looking at that the wrong board mate, that was a quote from some ■■■■■■■ called switch something or other and he was talking ■■■■■ about his truck
This is getting silly. He got his keys, (right so far ?) also had his paperwork at the same time, (correct ?) then he should have pulled forwards towards the gates and stopped, (are you with me nightline ?) after stopping, he should have closed his doors, (ok ?) this is where the trouble started, as he forgot to close his doors, (still here ?) So, instead of stopping and closing his doors, he kept going straight out of the gate and on to the road, (keeping up so far ?)
Meanwhile, (which means at the same time) the op was quite a few yards away with no way of warning the Stobarts driver that his doors were open because he had no keys and therefore his horn / hooter / or other warning device wouldn’t work. All he could do was sit / stand there helplessly while the Stobart driver drove out through the gate without stopping.
While we all know that he probably didn’t take off like a scalded cat, I doubt that the op could have run fast enough to catch him before he was out of the gate.
I know I’m probably on a hiding to nothing here, but ffs, please try and get someone to read this to you if you can’t understand it.
The guy seen it happen, he seen him drive out with the door open, so he thought he would post it here and have a laugh, If he was a nice person he would have done something about it, like being a nice person and said something or went to the guy when he pulled off and said something like O your doors are not closed. But that’s to simple for truckers knowing that they should be closed, and why O because maybe im better than you and I can talk about you later.
