Another silly tacho question

Win-Stone:
The sign says ‘Lorries’ you @£$%^&^%

If you look a little harder next time you will notice that underneath the lorry sign it also says Caravans, in most MSA’s.

I don’t think they want to be parked in there either particularly when Jonny is ■■■■■■■ on his tyres and Borat is under his trailer ■■■■■■■■ in a carrier bag.

Same old s###, WHY must “drivers” run to the 4.5 time limit, whats wrong with stopping for a break or parking up at end off duty 10-15 minutes earlier, are they brain dead

^^^^^ the smart ones see limits, the not so smart see targets.

Terry T:
3 hours driving
45 minute break
3 hours driving
45 minute break
3 hours driving

^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^

If you drive through France they virtually insist on it, and it’s so much more relaxing…especially with a glass of the local vino

In fact they like you to take an hours break…NOT 45 mins…and if you are going to take a 45 make it 46-50 minutes…HTH :sunglasses:

I always tried to get a 15 in early on. Sometimes I would stop 20 minutes down the road, have a coffee and sort paperwork etc. By doing that, I only ‘needed’ a 30 in the middle, although I nearly always took more.

If one is not on a set run every day…15 MINUTES IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO PLAN STOP…I start to plan when I have the address ,then after about three and half hours I am on the look out first toilets then with some luck a bit of piece .
