A lane has been blocked along Hedon Road, east Hull, after a lorry shed its load of bricks just before Marfleet roundabout.
Traffic is reportedly slowing down on the eastbound section of the road following the incident, which occurred at about 4.30pm at the roundabout where it meets Marfleet Avenue.
Humberside Police were called out to the incident and confirmed no one has been injured after a large number of bricks fell on to the road.
A spokesman for the force said: "We were called at half past four following reports that bricks had fallen from a lorry blocking the inside lane of the carriageway of Marfleet Avenue close to the BP Garage.
“The bricks are apparently blocking the inside lane of the carriageway but it is passable and no one has been injured.”
One eyewitness who saw the incident unfold, said: “Some poor lorry Driver has lost his load of bricks Marfleet roundabout. Gonna cause slow traffic.”
That roundabout is awful, seems to catch an awful lot f drivers (car as well as lorries) out.
