Isn’t there maidstone services at j8,pair of dangerous muppets

Those maidstone services are worth avoiding - it could be argued… :stuck_out_tongue:

maybe they were full ■■ :unamused: :unamused: hence the traler swap on the hs and on ramp to be PC
Well did this result in carnage or not? As i haven’t seen reports of carnage WTF is everyone whining about ? could of should of would of is like listening to the ZB dithering EU mantra when it comes to H&S that does not use common sense

I reckon the biggest cause of indignation here - is that we home-grown truckers would all get fined for pulling such a stunt.

The same applies to all those drivers who park behind the concrete wall under motorway bridges - clearly “overnighting” there.

WE would get fined and moved on. I’ve never seen VOSA or Plod arresting any drivers doing thus though, for refusing to pay the fine or giving it large on the “no speke English so me can no pay” bull.

Well the picture shows two uk registered units doing this , so how does the theory of it being EE come into it, unless of course those drivers in the picture are of ee decent and do not have a British driving licence, in such a case the british company is as much responsible for employing foreign cheap labour, as for the trailer change ■■■■ happens sometimes that’s the nature of the beast

You haven’t done much driving on agency these past 5 years I take it?

There are more EE on agency books these days than home-grown talent.
It would be perfectly normal to see two such drivers clowning around in British-registered vehicles.
The law only makes them wear PPE and obey tacho laws etc. Any “Bad Practices” are likely to continue however.

Sometimes a Cigar is just a Cigar, and conversely - we should not judge a book by it’s cover.

I keep an open mind.

“Dole Brothers” is the best posted answer so far though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Agencies i try to avoid were possible But they did not cause a multiple pile up did they ? were any children or pets harmed ? look at it for what it really is , no big deal in this instance ■■■■ happens in this industry , possibly more frequently through the use of EE workers, maybe not, don’t forget all these EE drivers have to surrender their ee licence for a British one after a certain time,
Maybe their loyalties to the boss man is were they come unstuck, they do things like this without questioning it

Where is your evidence to prove these drivers are/were non Brit??.. or do you just grasp every opportunity to jump on the anti foreign driver bandwagon.
Are you seriously saying that in this case the fining would purely depend on the nationality?, that is ■■■■■■■■ of the highest order, ‘‘We won’t nick these guys doing a changeover caught on camera as they will be foreigners, but if they were Brits…’’ …yeh right. :unamused:

Another thing you are right it is illegal to park overnight on a sliproad, and maybe they should be nicked for it. As for me I aint fussed, too much going on in my life to give a ■■■■ about stuff that don’t affect or concern me, but hey! if it bothers you so much mate…Join the ■■■■ Police :bulb:

The police don’t bother chasing up petty crimes being committed by non-Brits.
This applies as much to actual “foreigners” as it does to brudders as well of course. The police could if they wanted - bust every damned caravan camp in the country. But they don’t, because the “travellers” seem to have acquired more “Nation status” than actual Brits do - looking at how their “rights” are protected over tax payers everywhere.

You’d have to be pretty dumb as a Brit to blatently break the law in such a manner as swapping trailers on a bloody sliproad FFS.
I merely suggest that rather than “Dumb” they are more likely to be “Foreign” instead, as the police have already adapted a stance of “leave 'em alone to their own devices”.
So much for integration. :frowning:

I’m not against foreigner drivers at all. I’m just against criminals who blatantly break laws - and governments who adpot a PC stance that lets such criminals become endemic.

I’d join the police, be the “Hot Fuzz” and everything. Trouble is, I’m too old now, and me taking a “Hot Fuzz” approach would soon have me being booted for “making the rest of them look bad” as in the movie of the same name. :sunglasses:

I have just been taking another look at this, I had originally assumed they were on the hard shoulder of a slip road, and not condoning stopping on the side of a slip road I certainly wouldn’t be getting my knickers in a knot. I was thinking of something like THIS STREET VIEW

But finding the exact spot on streetview makes me think these were complete nutters, It doesn’t even look like a proper hard shoulder and it is more side of motorway than slip road. Its completely barking

I used to love it getting abuse from them, and seeing the surprise on their gormless ■■■■ faces when I faced them and reared up at them in a Brit accent, then they would say …‘Oh sorry mate I thought you were a foreigner’’ …as if it would have been acceptable to abuse me if I was :open_mouth: …pricks of the highest order :smiling_imp:

Get a grip man - me saying this stuff is no worse than others saying that “all agency drivers are crap and are to blame for everything”.
It’s Banter. Half the drivers I work with are foreign - and I get on with them, plus the foreign dockhands, floor staff etc. I’ve not met a foreign manager as yet at my workplace. :unamused:

You might want to see what Kent Roads Policing unit regularly post on Twitter before saying the above. Out of any police force they seem to be the most proactive force in the south east on fining foreign drivers and moving them on when they’re not parked where they should be. They moved on at least 20 just last night (see below)
There’s even someone arguing with them about this very subject right now.
I’ll post a link to it.

“Kent Police RPU ‏@kentpoliceroads
@samcab21 it’s a clearway so no yellow lines required. Let’s face it, it’s a motorway in all but name! AE”

I thought the police were there to enforce the law, not interpret it.

It’s about time this Cobham (Shorne) thing was wound up. When do the M25 bridges get done?
There’s a fair amount of the M25 in Kent after all…

There may be a fair amount of the M25 in Kent but there’s no bridges that can parked up under in it in that area.
Point still stands - you were criticising them for not doing what they’ve been proactively doing for a long time now.

I think I’m gonna have to see it going on for myself as described before I’m going to believe it.
The only bit of M25 in Kent I’m on every day at present is J5-J6, and I agree there are no walled bridges in that section. There are around the J8-J12 bit though, but all I see there is parked-up foreign trucks, sometimes three in a row as was near J10 tonight. (Bulgarian plates all three)
