i tried to put a post on about 2 weeks since about this when they first went into administration, but it must have been blocked as i said they were going bust. know of 2 firms owed over 50 grand, ouch.
Pricewaterhouse Coopers dealing with the winding up,God help the firm.They wound up Dragon Ice,Swansea,in 1989. We had £11000 worth of tax on the 14 vehicles when they were parked up,and PwC left it with the vehicles parked up in Port Talbot bus depot and lost all the refund.Wouldn’t let them wind up a watch of mine!!!
My sister used to work for a different firm in the City as a reciever and she would would never have missed something like that.
Her first job when she arrived at a failed company was to go round the directors with a waste paper basket and collect all the company car keys and credit cards. The cars were auctioned for cash and the cards shredded.
