I.ve seen Andersons trucks running up and down the 74 with steel for as long as i can remember, maybe not for much longer
As much as it’s a shame to see anybody go out of business, this lot are of the pay minimum wage, demand max hours, treat drivers like ■■■■ variety. IMO. They’re probably doing their drivers favour by forcing them to look elsewhere… though, in fairness, it’s not great news for them right at this moment in time, and unfortunately there are many other minimum wage cowboys out there (some pretty nearby) to hoover up the work (and i guess, hopefully the drivers)!
At a guess, A&D will probably grab a lot of their container work, and Keedwells may very well get hold of their steel work.

I remember the big stink in the seventies/eighties. The media chasing them up and down the A74/M6, they allegedly had to run relays in their cars to keep up with the hours and driving time involved. Made for good telly. Regards Kev.
