Salary: £21,540.59 /year
I was driving an 8 wheeler tipper last year similar hours and earn £7k more than that.
Just under a tenner an hour
Indeed.
Is the overtime on top or included tho.
Physically fit because of handball?
■■■■. That. Noise. I almost died yesterday handballing the contents of a 7.5 tonner. Flared up my old ankle injury and had to call in ill for today…
I got £80 for that. For £120 I could do 6 hours pushing cages about (on a bigger, more comfortable wagon).

On top I’d hope. Sounds like bag work, breaks deducted too I bet.
Here’s another for you Steve.
Driver Hire after a class 2 tipper driver in Kidlington area, working for a firm based in Cardiff (West Coast perhaps?). Phenomenal salary of £8/hour. So £80/day to charge about, but you do get a pretty new Scania.
And the deal clincher here, Driver Hire Umbrella, so you get all the above benefits and you pay for the privilege.
Could well be WCH m8.
Have to say that £8ph looks tempting
And then you get screwed by an umbrella con.
Wow.
Bet some ex KSDs in the area are queueing for that.

Yes, once Ardens’ sack them after three months.
Cant understand all the complaining, my hourly rate is only .008 pence per hour more than the NMW and I’m quite satisfied with that

So much for DCPC putting up wages. DH Oxford were paying £8.50-£9.50/hour 2 years ago for class 2.
