We’ve had one today at our depot. Doh. That’s 2 I know of since I’ve been here since Aug 13. Trailer isn’t too bad I don’t think certainly not as good as the first picture but still a bridge hit.

Since Brexit all new UK trailers have to be marked in Rods, Perch, Half Cubits and Spans. You can use Poles but do not confuse the length of a Pole between the height of an East European chap.

I’d love to see the modern generation coping with pounds shillings & pence , or even tons hundredweight & quarters . My son is in his 50s but can’t work in inches , maybe 15cm sounds a better brag than 6 inches .
A bit of thought from the planners / shunterse 
loaders would help , why they always feel the need to load stuff on a 15 ft trailer when it could just as easily be on a 13 ft I don’t know , Yes if you’ve only got the one tri available at 15 ft you have to use it , but to load it when there 30 x13 ft tris is just stupid & asking for trouble , yes if you hit a bridge it’s the drivers fault , but why make the bloody job harder than it needs to be
I don’t know how many times over the years I’ve had to go a hour down the road after tipping to change a tri because it was to high for the next job I don’t know , if the details of the job say No ht tris for the collection why load the bloody thing for the drop , I spend most weeks with a ht tri & im struggling to think of a job / load I couldn’t do with a 13/14 ft tri instead of a 15 ft 2
And what it must cost to drag a 15 ft tri all over the country in extra drag , having to re route because of the height instead of using a 13 ft I don’t know
Thank got we’ve hardly a d/d as I’m sure the shunters would be having a field day with them , 10 drops round central London !!!’

Why!!! Where is the sense in saying what it’s not?? I’ll be as ridiculous as you and say it’s not a shoe box.
Maybe its time to transfer everything to a different depot
As a rebrand I reckon High of Hull maybe helpful to the drivers in the future.
