Another crash near felixstowe Docks

Police received the call at 3.15pm after the vehicle, which was travelling to the Port of Felixstowe, had gone up the road’s embankment.

The underside of an A154 bridge was scraped by the Volvo heavy tractor articulated lorry, the trailer of which was empty.

A force spokeswoman said: “The driver is out of the lorry and we are getting officers to the scene. An ambulance has also been called for.”

She said slip roads in both directions had been closed.

The A154 Trinity Avenue in Felixstowe is partially blocked in both directions at Felixstowe Dock Gate 2.

Port Police are on the scene as well as two recovery vehicles.

Tis a bit I’m getting there before you round there. Fair enough if you’re short on the tacho but a lot of it is just ■■■■■■■■■ style.
