2016…uneventful
This time last year I was getting ready to do my class 2 training and started my new job in June, loving the variety of it so far and actually looking forward to getting back on Tuesday.

This year has passed really quick, just like my ten days off, and I’m definitely not looking forward to Tuesday morning.
In fact I’ve contacted my works pension provider to see how much a month they can pay me 
Currently enjoying a few vodkas and orange. 
Just sitting in front of the woodburning stove with a glass of wine and watching the snow fall outside.
Not a bad year,got my pensions from the UK,Holland and Sweden in July so am pleasantly surprised with the amount,not gonna be rich but comfortable.Now its nice not to have to Think about working [unless i want a bit extra]so can relax and enjoy the Life that is left.

Not a very sociable person me, so I’m indoors keeping the dog company as he hates the fireworks…making the most of my time by checking on stuff like Tanzanian Visa process times, and vaccination timescales in readiness for my Mt Kilimanjaro climb in September…

Jeff looks well Dan, retirement suits the old lad it seems! Not been a bad 2016 for us really, mum and young brother had health scares but survived which was a blessing and the pills are keeping the mrs and me ticking over haha! Thirty minutes sees the start of another new year all unspoilt so far so let’s make the best of it.

Another year working for the worst employer I’ve ever encountered.
They’ve been trying to manage me out the door since I was TUPE’d there. There’s nothing they won’t stoop to, to get me to leave. Breaking my contract with longer hours then I’m supposed to work…not paying me…bullying and harrasment…ignoring my letters of complaint…paying lip-service to my grievance letter, ‘‘there’s nothing we can do…so tough!’’. Now I start the year with no licence due to high-blood pressure, so it’ll be fun to know what they intend to do now I can’t drive.
