Here’s a pic of a French tanker that went over on the first right-hander on the way home from Modane.
I’m not sure what happened, but this is how it was when I came past.
The tractor unit had detached and had come to rest further down the bank.

i took the first pic in Calias, then to my surprise found the same truck “written off” and towed into a commercial vehicle garage in Northampton literally a few days later. not sure if the chaufeur was OK…
i think they would of been lucky to get out of that
