Anologue and digi help

Hi all,I done a assessment drive for my new job using my digital card on the 27th Jan and since then I have been on analogue tacho cards but today I was given a newer truck with a digital card and when I put my card in it asked 27/01/2015 end shift, I was unsure to put my last shift with my analogue tacho card or end shift for the 27th Jan from my assessment drive. I ended up putting end shift on the 27th as it was the only time I had used my digital card, just asking if I should have put my analogue end shift in which was yesterday? Sorry for the complicated txt and thanks for any help… PS it was a 4am start today so I couldn’t ask another driver because I was on my own

Aye you did right,a shift is the period of work before rest otherwise if you think about it your shift would have been two weeks long…good pay packet though!

As said you did the right thing, the end of shift the tachograph was prompting you for was the last one recorded on the driver card.

As tach said …
when using digi its always the end of the digital record of the shift. if you went from dig to ana it don’t mater it’ll still be the digi

Thanks for your help all, I was a bit worried to be fare… I am back on analogue Monday but was happier in the newer truck yesterday, the 05 plate I have been driving before yesterday is a bag of b…cks, I have two cousins who were 1980’s football hooligans and they have more teeth than third gear but hey ho I am gaining experience so that’s the main thing I guess…
