I can see this bloke going from very pro truck driver, to VERY anti truck driver, in a short space of time…
He has made a valid point, why park/cause an obstruction, when there is space to park off road, in a safe position ■■?
It doesnt matter what the prick bought / nicked, he was lucky some [zb] did
nt end up kissing his rear axle !!!
Sorry mate, but your rhyming slang auto-censor dodge didn’t work. It was more original than most attempts though. dd.
Sounds like a troll to me

‘…a lorry driver who seemed totally oblivious to the size of his vehicle … did not seet to care that he had just caused a massive traffic jam behind him … [and] didnt seem in a hurry to get his lorry moving again…’
Not good, but maybe he was belying a serious (health?) need for the pop?
Anyway, next time he should consider mounting the verge to knacker the kerb & disturb the subterranean service ducts or obstruct any pathway for his hugely self-serving needs to join the contemporary & socially ambivalent norm these days.
Maybe he needed to check an Isotrak message

Hi new to site, and a big fan of trucks and respectful of them on the road.
Being manager of a rather busy service station on a dual carriage way in essex i have a good bit of chats and bit of fun with lots of regular truck drivers who come in to refuel on daily basis.
yesterday i was really angered by a lorry driver who seemed totally oblivious to the size of his vehicle, the kind of road he was on ( A very busy arterial dual carriage way).
he decided he wanted a bottle of coke for his journey to where he was going. rather than pull into service station, he stopped on the dual carriage way. not a lay by or anything like that. He just stopped… causing a massive tail back in the lane he had stopped in. He did not seet to care that he had just caused a massive traffic jam behind him. Even other lorry drivers where honkin there horns in annoyance… if it where emergency i would understand. but he didnt use toilet… he didnt seem in a hurry to get his lorry moving again… Very annoying to see this amount of total disregard.
If the driver is on this site. That was a really poor piece of driving… if it is you profession surely you should have much more courtesy and awareness of what you are doing.
Obviously upset you, can I ask did you enter into conversation or refuse to serve him, request him to move the truck, call the police, take reg and call the vehicle operator if he was not an owner driver?

i hope they put the tacho on POA - Parked On Arterial dual carriage way

Probably had a high value load and thought parking on the road would be safe than the lay-by
