It infers at the bottom of the article that the Italian Gallardo has been written off. I think Lotus are in fine fighting form and are going from strength to strength with a raft of new models due out soon. If the Evora is free then why not?

Yeah, they’re a quick motor, I ride with 1 of those when I’m strollin’ along on my ancient RF9
Still not as fast as you made out though, think you’d have to be in top gear
It is fun exceeding the motorway limit before you slip into 2nd though, and being in ban speeds well before the end of the slip road isn’t it, no that I would know, but this is what I’m told
