And they want us to have DCPC

on the news Albanian man in car with false number plates, plod sees him and gives chase speeds up to 130 mph in a 30 mph zone hit s two cars plod find 80kg drugs in packs along with £ 5000 cash …Whats his sentence dont laugh just under 3 years…he could have wiped a family out …countries gone mad

Why do these (unprintable) never die?

I’m really starting to think there is something about their physiology when evading Police that means they survive horrendous crashes where others get killed for less.

We’ve got enough home grown drug dealing scum without importing sh from abroad… :imp:
First thing they should have done was, confiscate all his assets, then deport him AND his family

Nit sure I get the Driver cpc connection tbh, but there you go. .

I think his point is there is this moron driving a car and being highly dangerous, yet CPC is forced on us to “make the roads safer” when we’re not driving like (unprintable) in the first place…

had to chuckle at myself. No connection really It was just that I was thinking they have us jumping through hoops and others like this Albanian running about with a good chance of killing people…In another paper SAME story only they said 130 kg drugs chase at 80 mph in 30 zone ,I do not know who is right.

Ok fair enough, it ain’t worth arguing about. …but that is what separates us from car drivers,.we are either …supposed, perceived, meant to be, or are…PROFESSIONALS, where as people driving cars ain’t.

Physics.
The faster they hit a movable object the better chance they have of not decelerating too quickly.
If your brain goes from 30 to zero mph in zero time you are dead as the brain mashes in the skull.
Internal body parts have different figures but along similar lines.

This is why it is almost always the slower (good?) driver that dies in a head on collision.
The faster car has more momentum than the slower car (assuming same size) thereby making the slower car stop quicker.

Trees are the best thing for speeding drivers to hit as they are incredibly solid & hence excellent arbiters of high speed justice.

I’ve never been to Albania so I’m guessing there laws / the way they drive etc is different to ours , so you have to give him a bit of slack for that , obviously after informing him his behaviour was not acceptable , if he then continued with this behaviour then action would need to be taken
I always remember a polish driver where I worked just walking across the yard with a container , he then proceeded to fill that up with oil , it was so blatant it was unbelievable , no attempt to hide what he was doing
When interviewed about this , he apparently couldn’t see the problem , you can only assume in his country this was acceptable behaviour ,
He was sacked but apparently he couldn’t understand why
So I think we have to be careful in vilifying foreign people when they don’t stick to our laws , we invited them here so we have to accept they’re behaviour maybe just be a case of what was acceptable in there own country

Sorry I did not think I was vilifying foreign people

Never been to Albania either doze, but I’m sure as hell confident that it’s neither legal nor acceptable to drive at 130mph in their equivalent to a 30mph zone.

+1 or for that matter being a drug dealer

if i go to a forign country i am expected to abide by thier laws end of by the thought process of well they do it at home… they stone women in some arab countries should we allow them to do that here because they can in thier own country■■?

Not quite, much depends on vehicle design as to where and how the energy is dissipated. Remember the big old solid cars that hit trees and just bent the bumper and yet a newer design gets crushed upso the A pillar - they each dissipate the energy differently. The older car would result in higher injury potential for the occupants than the newer one by the way

Sounds much more believable. 130 in a 30, the police would not follow or be able to measure, as well as being pretty much unachievable.
