Used to drive 14’5" double deckers under that bridge when I worked for first bus. Went under there one night and ran over a loose manhole cover, thought I’d ripped the bloody roof off
You would think that the council would at least mark the bridge to warn drivers “think of another word” that there is a low bridge there

Nope. No buses, taxis, trams, friends with cars, walking shoes bicycles, roller skates or horses in Partington either. Perhaps she could have cycled to work if her car wasn’t parked in a cycle lane…
