This is the UK not fanstasy island,

Hhmmm, are you sure about that?

More like a nightmare

I counted how many unread books I own, either DTB or kindle and it’s 371 :open_mouth: , so I’m going to read one a week.

In 2017, I walked 2017 miles so in 2019, yes you guessed it. Achilles problem meant 2018 walking plans went by the by.

I also lost Ruby the mini schnauzer on the 23rd Dec, and two dogs just doesn’t feel right. Currently it’s a toss up between a Scottie to ‘replace’ Ruby or a deer hound to keep Lola the bonkers giant schnauzer company. I know I’m fooling myself and there’s a 99.9% chance of both

Cannot understand why anyone least of all a truck driver would want a cretinous labour govt in power?? Anyway roll on Brexit and be the first to leave this sinking corrupt ship that is the EU, celebrating 20 years of their euro currency, made a total in mess of it for most common people in Europe so hope common sense prevails for 2019. Happy new year to all Truck netters!

My only wish for 2019 is to take delivery of my new car that has now been on back order for 11 months!! If my info is anywhere near correct I may get it around week 18 of 2019

Don’t keep us in suspense then P,…what is it??

Nothing too special, just a 2ltr 200bhp turbo VW Polo Gti, basically it’s a detuned version of the 2ltr 230bhp golf Gti.
I may as well wait for the 19 plates before getting it home then I can stick the reg GT19OLO on it

There are no political parties who represent me as a white working class male, certainly not Labour, I have no voice.

Min Pins are lovely, but until I can have one of each… Just read the books then you won’t need to spend money!

I much prefer dogs to people mate. You have cemented my view of your good self as a diamond amongst cubic zirconia.

My ambition for this year is to get you bollocked for allowing some of my visceral posts  :grimacing:

Dogs certainly make more sense than most people.

As for your ambition, all I can say is you aren’t aiming very high

Improve my…

Staying awake on the motorway target which currently stands at around 4 minutes after setting cruise control from the slip road. I’d like to get this to the dizzying heights of 10 minutes then nod off. Some of my colleagues can’t manage 30 seconds, so that encourages me to do better.

In the words of the great Frank Spencer ‘every day and every way I’m getting better and better’.

 What’s really needed is for me to go on the driving slowly thread and air my views regarding the Police…

I want to do the full length of the Hatfield tunnel whilst holding my breath and not passing out like the last attempts. :smiling_imp:

This is the UK not fanstasy island, there’s more chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding Shergar down Downing Street than seeing Jeremy Corbyn walking through the door of No10 as Prime minister

Hmmm think Trump!

Mine is to get well enough to drive a car again and do a bit of part time work looking after classic cars and racing cars .
