Hello All,
Tipping at Amazon Rugeley tomorrow morning 6am ish, need to park up for 11 hrs when finished. Looked on Google Streetview, and see a lot of double yellow lines outside, so not looking good for a day-time kip, anyone got any suggestions for a decent place to park up? Looks like they have a holding area like the one at Amazon Tilbury, can you park up there? Are security wombles reasonable?
Thanks in advance.
No they won’t let you park in the holding area. There is one layby on the left hand side as you leave site, you might get lucky and get in there.
There are laybys on the A51 but otherwise you’ll probably have to leave the area.
There’s a lay-by just on the A513 just by Woseley Bridge, opposite a pub which serves nice food, which direction are you heading after? As there isn’t anywhere to turn around at this lay-by for quite some time…
Wheelhouse Rd. There’s one side of road which usnt double yellowed

Thanks for help all. Heading to the Bham site sure the one run by K&N, Wood Lane, but haven’t been to either of these two. Is parking on Wood Lane an option daytime do you know…? Cheers.
Wood Lane is that Erdington ? Try parking at the bassets pole .

Sounds right to me ,also plenty of room by canwell caravans on the A38 before bassets pole .

Much obliged, I’ll give it a google later when on break. Time to hit the road. Cheers.
You can get parked on Wood Lane if there’s space. There’s more round there too but it’s popular as you’ve got Amazon plus others and also trucks for Jaguar all looking to park.
Huge layby on the Rugeley-Hednesford road next to a couple of large fishing pools. 20-30m off the road, regularly see lorries parked up.
Your deep on Cannock chase though so you need to be self sufficient and it’s a poor radio reception.
