Ive just got a new job where i`ll be running between these two places any of you nice folk be able to shed some light on what to expect from amazon.
LOTS of waiting around! If you have a collection going out when delivering in you will nearly always leave on time. If just delivering you may have a wait.
Watch out for the yard Marshall’s. They just wander around, including behind reversing trucks. Actually got as far as reporting one this week as so fed up with it. They usually ■■■■■■ you to and from the vehicle.
I haven’t been to Bristol but Warrington is ok. Toilets are clean and tea machine is free (just about drinkable) just make sure your phone is charged or you have a book to pass the time
Bristol is one of the smaller distribution depots so will likely be a live load/tip (waiting room), Warrington is one of the big fulfillment centres so will likely be a drop & swap arrangement. All the loads have set departure times, so when your loading you know when you’ll be going.
Like the last poster said, when collecting you could find yourself with a big gap between arriving somewhere and the time your due out. Bristol to Warrington could well be empty or just empty cages so might not be a quick turnaround.
