Although only new

Hello
I am not a professional lorry driver, by any stretch , However I do own an old tilt n slide recovery truck which I am in the process of renovation of it.
I have it registered to me privately owned, and I intend to put my own classic car on the back and take them to classic car shows . , basically showing both vehicles.

My question, do you think I should go cpc in any event, …I’ve grandad rights on my lorry, but that doesn’t mean I’m good enough …can I have thought on whether it will benefit me and other road users even though I only drive it 2k max a year…
I think it costs £500■■?
Is it money well spent in my particular situation

If you decide to do the DCPC you can now choose whether to do the 35 hours periodic training or the initial DCPC, the initial DCPC will be much cheaper but does consist of two tests which you can fail.

Having said that as you will be exempt from the DCPC I don’t see the point of doing either.

By the way, your DCPC grandfather rights ended in September last year.
