Am surprised this day and age they haven’t put solar panels on top of trailers
Then use the power to power the truck make it a hybrid.
When power from.panels runs out it switches back to diesel.
I reckon you could get 100 miles maybe more from the panels

Transport for London are putting 20 double- decker buses , powered by Hydrogen,into service at a cost of £12 million with the refuelling stations .£5 million being funded by the EU. Built in Northern Ireland apparently. Coming into service next year.

From summer 2018.
Jacky Perrenot are aiming for 1,000 IVECO powered by natural gas by end of 2020. Not as green as hydrogen, but still an interesting step. See quite a few around already. 1,600km autonomy sounds good. They have many depots around so no problem there.
One French company we see a lot were taken over by Perrenot a while back, but the gas trucks aren`t in their sector yet though.

How weird would it be to come across one of these autonomous T-Pod trucks that have started to make deliveries in Sweden :open_mouth:
