Almost there :)

Top job. If you haven’t stripped it down like that before you get the benefit of being able to do it much more quickly and efficiently if you need to again in future for some other work.

I didn’t realise you had small midlift hidden behind those side skirts. I’d looked at some of your other pics and thought 4x2 is a funny choice for box work.

Looks really good!
The only thing letting it down is the grab handles under the windscreen, just take them off and spray them matt black,I did it with mine and it really freshened it up,you’ll be surprised how much of a difference it makes

Looks tidy well as tidy as a Daf can do  ■■■■■■ aint bad neither needs some Mark shead fettling made my old sapphire go like the clappers many moons ago

lol i cant afford mark shead fettling - or scs or anyone else for that matter  some of the lads on the cossie forum have sunk a morgage worth of money into their cars, 60k+ - crazy, but if you’ve got it spare then why not. :open_mouth:

DOH - was hoping nobody would spot them - they are on the list of things to do, i had a new windscreen in prior to stripping it, i did ask the lads to leave them off so i could paint them later in the week but somewhere that comunication was lost and they put them back on lol, they will be done, rest assured

Love the daf looks awesome! Whats been done to the yb?

not done a huge amount to the car, tidied the outside up, then put a full 3" stainless exhaust on from turbo to the back along with a hybrid T28 turbo and a stage one ahmed bayhoo chip - which i took the car down to him at romford for him to set up properly, i havent had it on a rolling road since it was done, it should be around 305-310bhp

this is it before it had the chip fitted …

i’ve had it for four and a half years now

Thats a pretty decent figure without a chip! Are you on passionford, i havnt been on there for years now as im into volvos these days but there were quite a few lorry drivers on there.

i’ve never bothered with passionford - its got a terrible rep, just go on escortrscosworth.com - very nice friendly site, what volvos’ do you mean - s40’s??

Yes i know what you mean, got the feeling if you didnt have a 3door with 20ks worth of parts you were a nobody.

Im in to 850’s, had an 850r estate which i sold a couple of years ago and now have an 850 t5.

there was a lad who came on the cossie forum who called himself volvoman - he did a resto thread on his t5, it was yellow, running about 550bhp if i remember correctly. good cars to be fair.

I saw that car while it was still being built, tis quite a machine. The volvo world is very very small.

Saw the truck at Catthorpe Interchange the other day. Loomed good, even with a crappy brown box on the back. Congratulations sir!

thanks. haha, that reminds me of what a lad said to me this morning after i’d washed it - what do you do if its a rusty old box, knock the job back? I laughed and said that when I was on for medite, if I had to go and collect an empty for loading I always used to ask for the best looking one in yellow!!! that was back when I had my gold and blue erf.
