Almost a 'FREE' holiday

Bunkcampers.com are requiring a fleet of camper vans brought back from Italy to the UK and are offering drivers and a companion flights to PISA,10 days vehicle hire in a brand new van and
a ferry crossing Calais -Dover for the princely sum of £100.Times are hard might make a fairly cheap holiday for some. Come up through Luxembourg, cheap ■■■■, cheap fuel and if you can
avoid the tunnels, go over the top might be an interesting break. Found this in the Sunday Times travel section.

Scam if you have to pay anything. They want them picked up…They pay for it. :unamused:

So let me get this right, you pay to bring their van back?

and you have to pay the fuel as well :exclamation: :exclamation: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

10 days free hire of a brand new camper van, I think its a good deal if you were somebody who’d hire a campervan for a European touring holiday. Its not as if they’re expecting you to get them back in a few days using the most direct route.
Bloody hell 10 days from Pisa you could get almost anywhere and have time to look around, you could use the national and local roads, take your time, 2 hour dinner breaks, stop in small towns and villages. Jumpers for goal posts, Bump into Toby.

And when you get to dover drive off ferry “step out of the van please sir…” seems too good an offer?

Sorry but that page isn’t allowed

I got that too

Just looked and it’s a flashy website indeed, me and the wife would be up for it if we had the free time..

Note that the outbound flight is from Stanstead but the drop off is at Gatwick. No mention of how you get back to Stanstead if you left your car there so you may want to leave the car at home and use trains instead or hitch hike.

This sounds like a good project for Limeyphil on his was back from Bulgaria!   Regards Kevmac47.

Don’t even mention the Bulgaria thing.I can see it now…European touring holiday, accommodation provided, just pay fuel, food and tolls, then relax in BG for a few hours before your flight home. :open_mouth:

What’s wrong with DeRooy! Cheap Dutch transporter with Polish drivers! they can carry four or five campers on DeRooy transporter!

Or the free hire of a camper-van for up to 10 days, I don’t know what the cost of hiring one is, but I’m sure that’s got to be worth a fair bit of money.

The small print is pretty standard stuff, we hire a lot of cars at work and have to leave a security deposit, or more normally they hold credit card details. Its normally about
€1000.
