Almazan truck stop

Has anyone got any info or directions for the truck stop at Almazan on the 111/c101 Spain. cheers

have previously posted fella but just for you

from medinaceli heading north,
exit the N111 at first almazan exit signed poligono industrial to roundabout, 1st exit towards town about 500m on left eroski supermarket and opposite repsol garage with parking behind and restaurant gasolinera on corner next to repsol, menu with wine and coffee 10 euros.

from cintruenigo heading south west,
when approaching almazan don’t exit cl101 for N111 to madrid stay on cl101 into town, past paper factory over railway crossing right into town centre.
at t junction turn left about 500m on left repsol with eroski on right. as you go through the town you will see all the different shops and bank machines if you need anything.

if no parking available behind the repsol its ok to park on main road before or after on both sides

Welshboy, when I read your post it reminded me of a previous post when you supplied me with these directions and I replied that I had never been there.

However a couple of weeks ago I was chatting to a mate about a time when we ran down to Malaga together and the subject of Almazan came up. It turns out that we did stop at there and after he jogged my memory I do remember.

Apparently I was also full of praise for the food and wine.

its 9 hous almost from malaga and its the route most spanish use to get to irun so is popular route.
the food is nothing exquisite but for 10 euros three decent sized courses with bottle of wine and caseras and coffe to follow, even a carajillo if you want
across the road big cheap supermarket for all in cab needs and the town has plenty shops, chemist, bank machines and even those chinese sell everything shops
