yeah mate, allport are still going strong, i used to collect out of their heathrow(langley) depot everyday til i left my job at the end of last month. as for putting your cv in to them, gotta be worth a go, the worst they can say is nothin goin at the mo.
sorry mate, for got to say, yeah they have got a depot in manchester, also in glasgow and heathrow(langley), thats the only 1’s i know of

And one just outside Tadley which is outside Basingstoke or depending which direction you’re coming from - Reading 
What do Allport do anyway 
as far as i can gather they do conference work, pharmeceuticals and all specialist! No doubt i am proabably wrong and will be corrected at some point?! They used to do a bit of european aswell!

There is a man on here knows a lot about Allport, providing I mean the same Allport of course.
the heathrow depot i used to collect from install cash machines and coffe machines and big servers for computers rooms and other similar sort of stuff. but i know allport are involved in loads of things including containers and the like

Allport are a big firm and have more than 1 depot in Manchester as they do Airfreight (which I used to do for them) and they also do installations (cash machines, safes etc that my mate used to do for them). They also have container transport too.
Is this the same allport that had a depot on the ind est in newton le willows yrs ago?
Allport also have a depot in sittingbourne doing mainly euro work i know this cos a fair few guys i worked with work there

I used to use then to import containers from China, that operation is based in Southampton, which I always though was the head office. As a customer they were great to work with and the people always seamed happy and enjoyed working there, but how they treat drivers I never knew because they used contractors to deliver the containers.
Yeah they’re still going with depots all over the place.
And they still do Europe, I was with one of their driver on the tunnel recently.

yes mate. they have a wharehouse at manchester airport.
I’m on contract(from kemballs) to them on containers, the container operation is ran through an office in Ipswich, but is known in house as FXT operations.they have a few off their own trucks on containers from Felixstowe. They run from container ports and rail yards all over the country. Deben tst run half dozen motors for them on containers from RCL on barton dock road Manchester, and alot more, as most of the truck on containers in allport colours are Deben.
As for trucks running in their colours with vans or tautliners on i dont wether they belong to allport, or are liveried contract trucks from other hualiers.

you need to look a little harder mate. We got around 20 Allport liveried trucks in our yard, and i should think Deben’s have double that and a bit more in Allport livery, plus they’ve half a dozen off they’re own on containers. I see Allport motors every where
Yeah, I also see them quite often, although I have to admit, that I see more of Eddie Stobart ones 
I saw even one in Belgium two days ago
