Any one had one done, not kerbing etc, straightened after hitting a pot hole, had one done and it looks a good job,but have a nagging doubt about it,will it fail, decent company who’ve been round years so not your normal back street outfit, should be ok ,but not 100% happy, any one had one done, was it ok,ta
it’s only the same on car’s, it’s not ideal straighting bent wheel’s as it now has a weak spot, and thats not good, yes there are good firm’s out there who will do a good and proper job on repairing them but that wheel has a history and also a weak spot.
if I were to find any repaired bent wheel’s, my first action would be to move the wheel off the steer axle, and on to another one, such as a lift axle or drive axle, or try to put it on a trailer axle, but if your that concerned about it, remove it and replace it, and make sure the wheel never goes back in service again.
