the mill is now being used as a car park such a loss to the area
Not the best place to tip a few years ago, life stopped when you pulled in there. You never knew if you were going to be there, an hour, a day, or a week. Even worse was Pridey Metfords at Gloucester, I was once in there for 3 days, but the biggest ■■■■ hole had to be RHM Barry.
The workshops were very pleasant inside.

I used to work in the old workshop (garage) opposite the weighbridge before they moved it to the back of the mills, great memories of Healings flour mills.

WHEN IT WAS WORKING I THE LATE 70s
Is it my eyesight or is/was the silo leaning even back then?
Has the conversion work started yet? We’ve got some old mill screens and other bits from Tewkesbury, bought at last years’ auction; Apparently it’s easily compatible with our own kit and is waiting to be installed now the warehouse/despatch dept has moved to Wallingtons yard.
