Allied bakerys

I’m sure i’ve seen a posting before but the search facility is not working

Can anyone tell me what they are like to work for as an agency is offering me work with them out of Launceston.

The fact they are screaming out for drivers is ringing alarm bells

What they have said is it is store deliverys in a class 2 (class 1 rate) starting at about 1 am til about 9 or 10 am

anything up to 24 drops.

Money doesn’t seem to bad for down here (£3 per hour more than I am on at the moment for before 6am)

I’ve also been told they have updated the fleet to late model Iveco’s

Thanks

Stuart

thanks for the link

I worked for them on agency in Sheffield about ten years ago and stayed with them for about ten months.

It was probably as easy a driving job as I could find. Mind you, the most drops I did in a day was about six, delivering mainly to the big stores (Asda, Sainsburys, M&S etc)

If you are going to be doing 20+ drops per day, you will be doing the small grocery shops so that may be a bit more demanding!

Let us know how you get on
