Alli does Ausfahrt

Well… off to europe I go.
And I get given this beast!

Parked up in the yard, I leave 5am the next morning for Vechta in Germany.

Nice roads here, in the main.

Over the border

Parked up at a garage on the way home, just over the dutch border

The dutch have some daft ideas, like hard shoulder running when it’s busy… fortunately the brits won’t pick that idiocy up… :unamused:

Playing “hunt the trailer” in Zeebrugge…

That’s the short version, will put up more soon.

nice photos,as for the running on the hard shoulder
this is done else where as well and belive me it is
well run and worth it saves time for every one, when
the roads are overfilled with traffic

Nice pics Allikat.

Where are you based then Belguim ■■? or do they have a yard in the UK.
Nice bit of kit to do the job.

I’m based in Belgium, it’s only a small company, so that’s it. And it’s a nice wagon, because I’m out in it all week, including weekends for 3 weeks or more at a time.Today’s job is to sort out my cab a bit more, I’ve not tramped in a few years, and it takes some organizing to get everything put away in sensible places.

alli is that robbiesdad firm.good pics ,so ya like the big daf then

some nice pics there mate , good one

The big daf is nice, and yes, it is Robbie’s Dad’s firm. And not a job to be recommended to those with a young family… But it’s my kind of work really. I just wish we had more sensible length rules, so we could have even bigger cabs to live in.

Hi Allikat, the title you gave your topic gave me a laugh…

The story is that I once took my brother with me on a trip to Germany.
A couple of hours after crossing the border, he piped up with this classic…

“Blimey this Ausfahrt place must be very big, because you can get to it from every exit I’ve seen so far…” :open_mouth:

BTW, Great diary and pics…:grimacing:

Nice truck Allikat but it won’t work when the ND beet season starts :sunglasses:
