Early this morning I came on a diversion through Stafford where the speed limit is 30mph. I was doing exactly 30mph as indicated by my vehicle. Looked in my mirrors and there was a whole line of professional drivers behind me that had caught me up so must have been going over 30 to do that. I gladly kept them all at 30. I consider it a public service that I offered for free to the residents of Stafford.

I’ve always wondered about the logic of some on here. I never realised just because you stick to a speed limit you are dull at a party or a boring person.
It seems you are scraping the barrel for excuses just because a driver wants to stay legal. 
The drivers behind you Rowley are people with no self control, no regard for the law and the ones that get us all a bad name. They don’t have time to go to parties because they work every hour rushing about like lunatics.

I have heard that the tachograph over reads the speed through too much use of the magnet, I always thought it was just a rumour, before I read the OP’s post.
